Casa Coll i Regàs is transformed into a game stage to commemorate the 121 years of laying the first stone. To discover this modernist equipment in a totally different way, the Iluro Foundation has launched a new activity that transforms the house designed by Puig i Cadafalch into an escape room. Thus, all the people who participate will have to discover what is the secret hidden in the house, one of the treasures, says the game, more well-guarded of the humanity. The initiative is born with the intention of publicizing the equipment through new formulas and new formats to reach new audiences.
In groups of up to eight people you can try to solve the mystery of Casa Coll i Regàs. It is proposed to all participants to travel several rooms of the equipment while the enigmas are solved, the challenges and the tests are overcome. You can only achieve tuning all the senses and overcoming all the obstacles that are presented along the way. This practice called 'escape room' is an extended initiative around the world where teamwork must serve to solve all the enigmas that arise. In Catalonia there are more than a hundred companies that offer this type of game that has a limited duration. Casa Coll i Regàs mixes the cultural part with the playful part and this makes this 'escape room' more individual.
At Casa Coll i Regàs you should try to find the mystery with a total of 60 minutes. This activity will be complementary to that of the regular guided tours of the equipment and will take place on the first Sunday of each month in two sessions. A modernist scene that now blends mystery with architecture and culture.
