Explain Modernism and the virtues of the most recognized architect Mataroní of this style through state-of-the-art technology materials. It is the pretext that the Iluro Foundation uses to announce the Coll i Regàs house and its creator, Josep Puig i Cadafalch, with a story that reaches the youngest ones. The proposal, called Materialitz'art, uses 3D printers and 3-dimensional pens to create pieces that explain the history of Modernism and one of the most iconic houses in Catalonia. The Director of the Iluro Foundation, Marta Ibarz, says that it is a creative way to reach new audiences, in this case, to families, with the intention of publicizing everything behind the Casa Coll i Regàs and doing it in a fun way.
When it comes to reaching new audiences, the Iluro Foundation has worked with the University of Barcelona to develop new pedagogical projects that help explain modernism through innovation and new formats. From this collaboration is born this "materialitz'art" and a Scape room, aimed at a teenage public who, with the excuse of play, also learns. Marta Ibarz explains that the Foundation will continue betting on new projects. Various creative ways to reach an audience as heirogenic as possible.
The workshop will be held every first Sunday of the month at 12 noon and children under 14 have free admission with pre-registration. In addition, the Foundation offers these days guided visits to the house in English, French and Spanish, to be able to teach the house to the tourists who visit the city.
