Considered the central work of the French sculptor?s career, who spent more than twenty years working on it. This monumental piece offers a spectacular view of hell, frenzied and tempestuous, yet also sensual and evocative.

Nude and Naked offers an overview of the artist´s work based on one of his most common themes, the nude, addressing various issues that relate to sexuality stereotypes and Smith´s personality. The team at El Palomar will provide a counterpoint from the perspective of the queer movement and there will be a series of installations from young emerging artists on display in the museum´s Arc space, establishing a dialogue with the disciplines of this versatile creator (sculpture, illustration, jewellery), as well as highlighting Smith´s most ground-breaking, modern vision.
