The work of this architect, who qualified in Barcelona in 1879, is an example of how certain Modernista architects based themselves on Neo-Medievalist postulates, particularly Gothic forms, while adding floral and vegetable features typical of Modernisme in the ornamentation of their buildings. Casa Vídua Marfà (1901-1095; Passeig de Gràcia, 66) and Casa d'Isidoro Majó (1890; Doctor Dou, 2 - Carme, 40) are two examples of his production.
